Small Hot Tubs
Starting Out With Small Hot Tubs
Small hot tubs are a great choice to get started in
the backyard, spa and hottub lifestyle. Plus they offer a lot of benefits
larger hottubs can’t compete with. Ease of installation, simple to install
and with a small price tag, smaller hot tubs are a great first choice.
Often billed as portable hottubs, they are more
affordable as the smaller cousins of the full-sized hottubs. They are great
for small properties where space is at a premium. They can be sited in
creative areas. How’d you like to walk out onto your patio and right into
your hot tub? You can more easily do it with a small, portable model.
Of course, portability is relative. Even small, two to four person hot tubs and home spas hold 150 to 200 gallons of
water. That’s a lot of weight! And no matter how you do it, they will take
up a fair amount of space. Yet some models are much easier than others to
empty, move and set back up. Some can be moved in only a few minutes by one
or two people. Other hot tubs may take hours by a whole crew.
So, if you think you might want to relocate your
portable home spa or hot tub at some
point, know the features of the hot tub you are getting. When checking out
models, check with the dealer or manufacturer about how easy it is to move
your hottub, and set it back up. Some of the smaller models are designed
with relocation in mind, others not. Know what your model is capable of.
One great advantage of smaller hottubs is the maintenance. There isn’t as
much! Their small size and scale means smaller
hot tub heaters and pumps, filters and
other equipment that generally do not need to work as hard. That translates
into smaller electrical costs and maintenance bills for your portable home
spa or hottub. That way you get quality at a great cost! Just one more thing
to enjoy while you soak your troubles away in your new home spa!
